Cold-drawn steel pipe is a kind of steel pipe, that is, it is a kind of different classification according to the production process, which is different from hot rolled (expanded) pipe. In the process of expanding the diameter of the blank or raw pipe through multiple passes of cold drawing processing, usually in 0.5 ~ 100T single chain or double chain cold drawing machine. Cold rolled (dial) steel pipe in addition to general steel pipe, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipe, high pressure boiler steel pipe, alloy steel pipe, stainless steel pipe, petroleum cracking pipe, mechanical processing pipe, thick wall pipe, small diameter and internal mold cold-drawn pipe other steel pipe, also includes carbon thin-wall steel pipe, alloy thin-wall steel pipe, stainless thin-wall steel pipe, special-shaped steel pipe. The outer diameter of cold-drawn steel pipe can reach 6mm, the wall thickness can reach 0.25mm, and the outer diameter of thin-walled pipe can reach 5mm, the wall thickness is less than 0.25mm. The accuracy and surface quality are obviously better than that of hot-rolled (expanded) pipe, but the diameter and length are restricted by the process.
